Each nomination would invite voters to cast their open ballot with judges reviewing the tally and presenting the winners. The night began with the first nomination of Aggregator of the Year and I guess you can assume we were on the stage for this award! Our team was thrilled to be recognised throughout all of Europe for the quality service we are devoting to our aggregation platform. To Alea, it’s all about the people, the interactions with clients, the moments shared together in a conference and in our office with colleagues. It’s these interactions that fuel the quality of Alea Play. To win this award only reminds us of every day in the past year that we’ve had the chance to meet and expand our relationship with clients. That being said, we thank all of you for such a recognition, it’s been a pleasure to model the quality Alea Play after all of our time with clients and colleagues.

If winning Aggregator of the Year was not enough of a shine on our booth G6, the interview with our CEO Alexandre Tomic would reinstate the fact that Alea is here for the long run as an aggregator that would shape the trends of portfolio delivery. Our CEO got up close and honest with SiGMA’s event regarding its size, quality, and reflecting on how the conference could continue bringing an edge to event hosting in iGaming. • Alea Takes Home “Best Aggregator 2022” at Sigma Balkans

Alea Takes Home “Best Aggregator 2022” at Sigma Balkans

All eyes on Belgrade this week as thousands of attendees are planned to fill the conference halls of Sigma Balkans and CIS with nearly 50% of those attendees holding C-Level positions representing every country in Eastern and Western Europe. Belgrade is becoming a critical point in iGaming business as it becomes the crossroad between Eastern and Western knowledge sharing. iGaming titan – SiGMA Group is well aware of this recent boom in the balkans and has locked in a conference promising grandiose entertainment, top-quality attendees, and thought-provoking panels.

With such an event, and in the fashion of SiGMA Group, there would be no better way to ring in this bustling week than with a striking award show to capture what it currently means to belong to this iGaming world. The award show would present a multitude of market niches and ask voters to cast their preference on who served the market best this year within their category. And needless to say, the votes did not disappoint. Thousands of choices casted for categories that included Best Sports Betting Operator, Best Affiliate Program, Best Outsourcing Specialist, Best CIS Affiliate, Best Online Casino, Marketing Solution of the Year, Best Industry Workplace, Best New Casino Game, Best KYC, and many more. To Find the full list of awards, check out this wrap up from SiGMA Group.

So, where’s Alea fit in all of this? It’s a question we wouldn’t have answered the same way the night before the awards as opposed to after. We are thrilled to attend the conference on its own and leave our mark in a city that is quickly becoming irreplaceable in business and development for iGaming. Alea was confident to attend this sort of homecoming with its front-entrance booth located in P1 and panel discussions scheduled with our CEO – Alexandre Tomic whose heritage traces back to Serbia.

With this setup, our team was ready for a conference to be remembered setting our intention to expand eastward in clientele and strengthen the legacy friendships we’ve built in the region with over fifteen years worth of Alea’s iGaming experience.

Yet the awards, presented on the night before the conference would begin, would set the bar higher for Alea’s experience of the week as we were awarded Best Aggregator of 2022. Having been nominated amongst legends, we are both thrilled and grateful to be considered an aggregator that delivers top performance on a technical and account side. We know the world of aggreagation and must admit the platforms of our competitors are worth this award just as much and deliver top-notch service in multiple disciplines. So, we thank the voters and judges for endowing us with this title and we admit it is the culmination of a 365 days worth of product-centred development with the needs of our clients shaping this path. The night, and the conference in itself, was a homage to the products and teams that make the iGaming industry a world that never sleeps on innovation. A world that continues to redefine the experience of a bet and Alea’s aggregation platform is proudly at the forefront of this challenge.

Watch our CEO, Alexandre Tomic, remark the challenges of aggregation and why centralised portfolios are the future of casino content. Interview with Alexandre Tomic, Founder & CEO at Alea Gaming | CIS 2022

  • Kalamba Makes its Debut on Alea Play

Kalamba Makes its Debut on Alea Play

After only 5 years, Kalamba Games has amassed over fifty slot games, a registered MGA license, and over fifty employees to back this robust game-producing engine. It’s safe to say this software is not only expanding, it’s conquering all spectrums of the slot experience and redefining what it means to have a flawless bet experience.

Since 2016, Kalamba Games has presented their passion for social casino slots through every game they’ve created. With the pioneers of Kalamba having a solid background in the gaming industry, it was only a matter of time that their games would become world-known for their social casino-inspired retention logic. And after over five years, Kalamba is responsible for fifty-four RGS titles offering a wide range of RTP’s and customizable jackpot campaigns. However, the team explains that what makes their games truly unique is their retention capacity having said the following :

Our slot games have proven to improve retention; we do take pride in having the proper tools needed for delivering an engaging experience to our users. Having the possibility of creating customizable jackpot campaigns, specially tailored for the needs of our clients has also been a way of improving the number of users that opt for our titles. You can always give them a try at: https://kalambagames.com/games/

So, it’s pretty clear – Kalamba games are in demand by all casinos. But how does this retention logic come to life with players and what makes them keep coming back after that first session? Kalamba Games explains it’s all about the features and mechanics. Their slot games are equipped with impeccable graphics, reliable technology, and flawless collection mechanics – all of which ensure that the player not only continues playing, but also creates a genuine fanbase which keeps the players coming back.

    Bringing a Game to Life

Games can resemble Hollywood movies when we take a look at the creation process and the magic behind slots becoming beloved classics. But to actually create a game, from the initial idea to the “spin again” button being clicked by a player, there is a full journey at hand. Kalamba Games gives us some insight into this process and highlights the following points:

The process of creating a new game starts with a random member of the team proposing an idea for a game. If validated by the other relevant members, the idea then becomes a story board that we adjust based on the features and the mechanics we want to implement for the game. Then we wait for someone to be inspired enough to come up with a smashing name for the game. When the fun process stops, it’s time for the boring and much needed test phase. After that the fun moves to the marketing department; these guys make sure that a well-deserved hype is created around the title. Pretty fun process overall.

Kalamba Games has experienced this Hall of Fame sensation with their Joker games series. They explain that the magic behind classics can be attributed to having a specific audience in mind and “delivering titles that rise to the expectations of that audience”. Of course, Kalamba Games has noticed a few patterns in these standards, which is why games like Blazing Bull and Zombie Queen have earned their placed as well in globally demanded slots.

The Kalamba Games seal speaks for itself in the details of each slot and the attention and empathy they have placed in each game creation journey. Alea Play searches for this kind of quality and care in the softwares we integrate and we are proud to provide this brand to all our clients.

  • Alea Play is now live with Play Pearls

Alea Play is now live with Play Pearls

A software provider with graphic novels, collectibles, mini games, and scratch cards based on their hottest slot games? This provider – Play Pearls – has found a way to merge our most beloved gaming concepts with state of the art slot machines available in online casinos and you can now explore all these unique features in each of their 86 games through Alea Play. Play Pearls has its beginnings in a familiar setting: ”…a few guys began to work with iGaming, and as time passed, it became home for many. We desire to create games with that additional layer of entertainment.”

Their portfolio is quickly expanding with 86 games ranging in slots, instant win, video poker, and keno. The provider never stops expanding the capacity of their games as they recently informed us that they will soon release a partnership with a studio to offer table and slot games under the PlayPearls umbrella.

Though, regardless of this expansion, a reputation for Play Pearls is already well-established and thriving due to its adventure series games such as COLT PI, Space Hunters, Wild School, Star Trex, and Iron Sky – each of which have soared in popularity as they attract a fanbase of moviegoers curious to play slot adaptations of their favorite screen classics.

Alea Play not only provides this full portfolio, but also encourages and facilitates promotions between casino clients and Play Pearls. These promotions can range from campaigns on the collectable figurines to the classic bonus suite and free spins. Having had a one-to-one with Play Pearls, they provided us with some graphic novels to shine light on how they’re redefining player journey and gameification in their slots. Each graphic novel is a work of art with an immersive story line and detailed accounts of each character. Play Pearls proves through each page of the novel that they are in it for the long run with their player journeys and promotional material – leaving casinos and players immersed in a world with sensible characters and endless adventures.

Play Pearls is here to tell a story. Players are not only going to experience top-quality games. They are in for a full submersion in the game journey and its characters with a 360- interaction between the game, graphic novels, and collectables all tied to the story.

Alea Play is happy to help clients start their talks with Play Pearls and offer a team of technical and account support to get these games in casino lobbies with zero wait.

  • Alea Play is now live with Ruby Play

Alea Play is now live with Ruby Play

When you search for magic, immersion, and a full interactive experience, Ruby Play comes first with all sixty of its slot games – available through Alea Play and playable for free here and on Ruby Play. Casinos can expect to find their full range of games through our platform, from the most famous ones like Mayan Cache and Loco Habanero, to the latest scheduled releases like their upcoming roman gladiator game (still underwraps!) in which Ruby Play promises a full use of mobile portrait and the launch of their Cash Active brand!.

    The Team

Ruby Play defines itself as a team of creative people who have worked in land-based and online spaces, both real-money gaming and social. When asked about how they arrived to online slots, they gave us a bit of background to their experience with the following words:

”We wanted to take the best of all three worlds to provide a player experience that’s as good in the math as it is in the visuals, while also providing some of the meta features that social is known for. As for why we focused on online – good question! Being online distills the game to just the game – no hype, no advertising, no bells and whistles. To stand out in a field of thousands of games competing for attention, if someone likes our games, they really like them. Plus, we can get games out to you faster!”

    The Game

Having had a one to one with the company, we got down to the essence of its games and what keeps players coming back for a new round of spins. The Ruby Play team is composed of players themselves. They know that the vivid art found in Ruby Play games is what attracts players while the math is what keeps all of us there! Their most famous games do just that and with their enhanced Jackpot Mania feature, the games become a full experience for each player. What about new games? How exactly does Ruby Play continue to develop creative slots that keep players on their toes?

”We can often be found haunting various casinos, both land-based (for the free buffets) and online (for the free rounds), playing our favorites and also checking out new games. We get inspired with internal nagging questions while playing: “what if this were done that way” or “if only they did this.” That’s our own inner dialogue with our own games, too. Then if it gets loud enough, we work with our mathematicians and if we come up with a model we like, we add it to our roadmap. So the design always starts with the math, then our developers and art team create the game to support that.”

Ruby Play holds a mindset of growth and opportunity. They are proud to offer a variety of promotions and are willing to create new ones should a client wish to personalize their deal even more. As Ruby Play confirms ‘We’re open to working with casinos on different types of promotions. We have a few brands that can be highlighted as categories. We realize it’s difficult to get players to notice any game, let alone ours. But we’re confident that once they start playing, they’ll want to keep playing. Just let us know, and we’d be happy to talk more!’ Alea Play is happy to help clients start their talks with Ruby Play and offer a team of technical and account support to get these games in casino lobbies with zero wait.

  • Alea lands in Sigma Europe

    Alea lands in Sigma Europe

It’s been dubbed the “mother of all conferences” as Sigma unites, for the first time, four of its leading shows into one grand conference happening from November 15 to 19 in Malta. The week kicks off with the official Sigma Gaming Awards where a spectrum of awards were presented from the traditional Game Provider of the Year (presented to Stakelogic) and Online Casino of the Year (presented to Video Slots) to more contemporary recognitions like Crypto Casino of the Year (presented to TrueFlip) and Unique Selling Point of the Year (presented to Evolution).

Tuesday would be the first day of the conference where our team hosted all kinds of guests at our Booth – G24. Our VR specialist – Arnau Martinez – commends the conference for its wide variety of attendees saying the amount of people in the hall was immeasurable with company backgrounds ranging from game providers, payment solutions, and operators. The energy was vibrant and guests were happy to be attending an in-person conference after two years of majority of interactions being remote-based. As the team embraced familiar and new faces of the industry, our CEO and Founder – Alexandre Tomic pitched an audience on his views regarding compliance in a panel discussion concerning Outsourcing and its role in Optimising Compliance Processes. There were a total of five speakers with the following career backgrounds – WH Partners Law Firm, Maxima Compliance Consultancy, Consultant Regulatory Compliance, and Alea Play – game aggregator. Presenting such a contrast on stage, the audience experienced both the facts of compliance and the interests of each party – whether it was a consultancy, software provider, or law firm. Indeed there is no right answer to the balance between Compliance and business.

With this conference, Sigma has proven once again its dominance in bringing together every market and stakeholder in the iGaming world. The three-day agenda has covered four different continents – Africa, South America, North America, and Europe with cryptocurrency being felt equally prevalent among casinos, providers, and payment solutions. Alea Play, being at the forefront between game providers and casinos, holds Sigma as a changing point after weathering out nearly two years of conference-less interactions throughout the industry. The team regards their meetings in these last three days as a promising foundation to new markets and smarter gaming.
